Original artwork on suede. The leather is sewn on felt and filled is this softcover journal with acrylic-stained paper (for the ancient look), hand torn and carefully bound with strong linen thread.
The paper is smooth and takes all writing instruments and will also work great as a sketchbook for dry media.
A5 wood book, covers made from cherry.
A6 wood book, covers made from scottish elm.
All wood from sustainable sources in Scotland.
Covers finished with danish oil and beeswax polish.
Bound using a chain stitch with linen thread. 130gsm paper.
In future I will be using unbleached hemp paper for my books
